Replacing my 30 gal water heater - which is in a wall space not much wider than the heater. Floor is not great from past water heater leaks, and I do not want to replace it right now - though I MUST prevent further damage. Only drip tray (For under the water heater to catch leaks) I can find is HUGE and won’t fit in the space. Heater is 19 in in diameter. Can anyone help?

I just moved into a 2-story home that has the heater upstairs (for all to hear). Is this normal and maybe I never noticed because the other heaters were always in the garage? It really sounds like something is popping inside it, alot like popcorn. It only does this when we’re running hot water, or shortly after.

We have a 4-plex that is currently served with one 75 gal water heater. Each apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. I am not sure if the unit is commercial or residential. About 3-4 people reside in each apt. It is old and needs replacement. Thanks.

I need to bypass my heater core and one hose is 5/8 and the other is 3/4. I replaced the heater core but its leaking for some reason because I half assed it. But its a piece of turd truck that I hope is going to get me a few months. I just need to know where I can buy a plain old non threaded 5/8 to 3/4 adapter to connect my 2 heater hoses together. I need something. Coolant slowly leaking into my truck is really starting to irritate me. Thanks for any help.
All the plumbing store I went to don’t have 5/8 because its not a standard size. Already thought of that. I just think I’m screwed. Maybe some scotch tape.
