Sometimes it’s cold in the morning, but warm in the afternoon. Could I light my gas heater and keep it lit all day? Or do I need to turn it off every time that it’s warm enough to not need the heater?
I just want to make sure it’s okay to leave it lit if I need to switch to a/c. The heaters up in the attic, so it’s not easy if I had to keep relighting it.

you can keep it lit, there should a pilot light that allows the heater to come on and off
